If you are new to the insurance field and want to start your career as an Insurance Agent then you can join the star health partner program, there are eligibility criteria that you should match.
- Ahe should be above 18 years to up to 50 years
- Should have a minimum education qualification of SSC (+2/ Intermediate)
- If you are new to insurance then you need to take training for an around 50hours and then you need to appear for the IC-38 exam by IRDA, once you qualify you will get a license which Is valid for 3 years.

What is the IC-38 examination conducted by IRDAI?
To know if the agent is actually ready to sell the product in the right way or not this exam is conducted, This Subject starts with the inception of insurance to Reinsurance, IC38 Subject contains all basic aspects of Life, Health, and General Insurance industry that is essential for selling Insurance.
You cannot directly appear for the exam as there are 75 hours of training before attending the exam for New agents.

- There are 50 questions out of which you need to get 18 correct to qualify.
